Data deletion

1. Disconnect a social media account

In the BeViral app, go to Settings → Connected accounts and disconnect the account. BeViral then:

• first cancels the publications to that account that have not been sent yet (section 3);
• revokes its access at the platform;
• deletes the access tokens and the list of your posts;
• stops reading new data.

Statistics of the posts you linked to tasks stay with those tasks, so you can still compare the forecast with the result. To delete them too, see section 2. Data received from YouTube is deleted in full within 7 days after you disconnect.

2. Delete data in the app

• To delete the statistics of one post, open its task and unlink the post.
• To delete a task and everything linked to it, delete the task.
• To delete everything, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your profile, analyses, plan, connected accounts, access tokens, all statistics, publication records and the videos kept for publishing. Personal data is erased or anonymized within 30 days, as described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy; data received from YouTube is deleted within 7 days.

3. Scheduled publications

If you have scheduled videos for publication on a connected account:

• To cancel a publication before its time, open its task and cancel it. Nothing is sent to the platform.
• A video kept for publishing is deleted within 7 days after its publication is complete, cancelled or has failed, unless you have allowed BeViral to keep your videos to improve the predictions.
• Disconnecting the account first cancels its publications that have not been sent yet and deletes their records, and then revokes BeViral's access. Deleting a task or your BeViral account also deletes the records of its publications.

Posts that have already been published stay on the platform: delete them in TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. A TikTok draft stays in your TikTok inbox until you post or delete it there.

4. Revoke access on the platform

You can also remove BeViral's access in the platform's own settings:

• TikTok and Instagram: in the list of apps and websites connected to your account.
• Google and YouTube: at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

When BeViral detects that access has been revoked, it treats it as a disconnection (section 1). After a revocation through Google, data received from YouTube is deleted within 7 days after BeViral detects it, and in any case within 30 days.

5. Deletion requests from Instagram (Meta)

If you remove BeViral from the apps and websites connected to your Instagram account and ask for your data to be deleted, Meta sends BeViral a deletion request. BeViral then deletes all data it received from Instagram, including the statistics linked to your tasks, within 7 days.

Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to a status page for your request. If you have a question about a request, write to privacy@beviralapp.com and quote the confirmation code.

6. By email

Write to privacy@beviralapp.com from the email address of your BeViral account and tell us what you want deleted. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We reply within 30 days, and data received from YouTube is deleted within 7 days of your request.
